DC 2026!
The SCA 8th-12th graders are headed to Washington DC this spring! We look forward to enriching our understanding of U.S. history by taking in the sites and scenes at our nation’s capitol! We are making this trip available to all 8th-12th graders, and you can find pertinent trip information below.
Trip Dates:
Wed, April 29 - Sat, May 2
We will leave SCA bright and early Wednesday morning, to return in the early evening of Saturday, May 2.
The cost of the trip will be in the range of $150-$200 (based on final itinerary), with additional food/tourism costs.
1st Payment $100: Due Thur., Feb 26
2nd Payment $50-$100: Due Fri., Apr 17
* based on final itinerary, which is TBD *Food/Tourism: Students must have their own money for food costs (lunch/dinner). Our hotel serves complementary breakfast.
Trip Cost
Our group will stay at the Homewood Suites in Rockville, MD and use the DC Metro system for all travel into and around the city.
Lodging & Logistics
In order to lock in our room rates and finalize logistics, we ask that parents call in to the office to confirm participation by Mon, February 16!
